Hudson Buckmaster tries his best to carry buckets to his grandfather as part of the Dailey chores. Hudson is part of the fourth generation Buckmaster to be working on the farm. His is the second youngest in the family, asides that of a new baby sister.
Bruce Buckmaster, left, and his grandson, Eli Buckmaster, right, gathering food for the cows as a part of their morning chores. HIs grandchildren visit almost every week to participate in learning how to work on the farm.
The grandchildren know not to get attached to the animals since they have been taught from a young age the animals will go to market one day. This does not stop them from wanting to feed the calfs though.
Kim Buckmaster feeds the calfs milk as part of her morning chores. She married into the Buckmaster family and resides on the farm with her husband and children.
Jerry Buckmaster is the great grandfather of Hudson, Eli, and many other great grandchildren. Jerry will help out when needed, but takes a break for himself. For the past few years, Jerry will take his girlfriend to Florida for the winter.
While Jerry still lives on the farm, two of his children live on other parts of the farm. Bruce and his brother trade off each weeks doing chores around the farm with their families.
The Buckmaster farm is a fourth generation farm. The family moves the cows every few days so they have fresh grass and wildflowers to chew on.
